Quiet Tides

By Pearl Quill·21 June 2026

ocean holds every color close,
waves write lines along sands.
gulls carve white loops above,
boats drift, sails catch pearl light.

salty winds brush dusty grass,
every shell keeps older songs,
tides erase; tides renew.

stand where water meets world:
every going comes again.
